One Month of Call for Entries: What's Been Done

Today is already a month since the call for entries for the eighth "Multimatograf" has been opened.
The organizing committee has recieved 51 works and among all the nominations the first place is taken by "Cartoon" (15 works are already sent into this nomination). We are also glad that the new nomination "Short film" doesn't lack attention: we have already got seven "shorties".
Many famous persons are going to visit the festival as guests and presenters of master classes. Among them there are Pavel Moontyan, General Producer of "Toonbox" studio, Georgiy Molodtsov, director, the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography lecturer, Alexey Prokopov, post-production specialist, Scream School lecturer. Of course, it is not the complete list and we will amaze you with interesting persons.
As Nadezhda Surovtseva, the festival manager, says: "The most important stage is going to start. Now we are working on the festival content, making arrangements with our guests and invited specialists. The participants are becoming more active too. And we, organizers, don not say "we will do this tomorrow any more, only — "here and now". It's becoming more and more tense, but also interesting and exciting as well. We hope we will realize everything we planned".
Dear authors, we remind you that we have 5 nominations for you: "Cartoon", "Music video", "Short film", "Video-art", "Wild". The participation procedure is quite simple: you are to register on the website (it takes just a few minutes). The call for entries is open till April, 8, 2012. All the festival events will take place on April, 28-30, 2012 in Vologda city (Russia).
Good luck!
