The long hours spent watching «Cartoon», «Wild» and «Video Art» categories are over!

-‘Jury members asked for some works to be rejected, but then for some others the room burst into applause...’– told Maxim Petryaev, “Multimatograf” festival director, when just out of the “Royal Cinema”, where jury members watched some of the works in competition.
They have watched 50 works from the “Cartoon” category, 14 from the “Wild” one, and 11 “Video Art” works.
‘Some works really exceeds the average level, some are below it’ admitted Alexey Kotenotchkin, film director and artist, after the screening. ‘Well, like always. I cannot say that any works really stroke my attention.’
‘I mostly liked the works, some of them are of very high level’ – told Alexey Zorin, specialist of graphic computering, post production and multimedia technologies. ‘Every year, the quality of works is higher. There is no obvious favorite, not like last year. Jury will probably argue before making a choice’.
This year, 105 works got selected in the festival.
Tomorrow, the jury members and the public will evaluate the works of two others categories “Clip” and “Short films”. Screening will begin at 9.00am at the Royal cinema tomorrow (April, 29).
