Multimatograf Winners
The gala-concert of the 7th «Multimatograf» festival is over, the best festival works, chosen by the jury members have been shown and the winners - awarded. They are:
- art union «420» (Russia-Ukraine) in the nomination «Cartoon» for the work «God and an Orphan»;
- Sergey Merinov (Moscow City) in the nomination «Music video» for the work «Sasha Walked on the Highway»;
- Konstantin Konovalov and Irina Neustroeva (Moscow City) in the nomination «Wild» for the work «Inflation of Animation».
Diploma «For Topicality» was given to «Revival» studio (Moscow City) for the music video «Ikra» («Caviar»). The diploma «For the Most Paradoxical Work» was received by Anton Korshenko (Almaty, Kazakhstan), the music video «Blind Vera». «For the Visual Realization» Alexey Terekhov (Oakville, Canada) with his music video «Bolt» was awarded; «For the Good Story» - art union «420» (Russia-Ukraine), cartoon «About a Scholar-Taxi Driver».
Also the jury members marked out:
- cartoon «Once Upon a Time There Lived a Mother» by Anna Artemyeva (Moscow City);
- music video «I Have No Time» by Carlos Lascano (Madrid, Spain);
- cartoon «Amuse a Little Worm» by Evgeniy Kotov (Vytegra, Vologda Oblast).
Special prize was given to the youngest participants of the festival - students of Sergey Savin animation studio (Moscow City). The prize was handed over to them by the First Deputy Governor of Vologda Oblast Ivan Pozdnyakov.
Undoubtedly, it's worth to note that it's not only the high quality of all the works that struck the viewers of the gala-concert, but also their emotional depth, meaning and the message that the author wants to share with the world.
