Today is the last day of call for submissions. The organizing committee has received exactly 100 multimedia creations which fully satisfy the technical requirements.

 

This year the festival has expanded drastically over the world. Participants from Russia will compete with their collegues from Indonesia, Spain, India, Greece, the USA, Canada, Holland, Azerbaijan, Ukraine and Belorussia.

 

The VJ Mattias Wright from Munich (Germany) has sent the work «Mixed Identity» into video art nomination. One cartoon and a music video have been submitted by the artist, director and animator from Spain Carlos Lascano. In 2005 one of his works («The Legend of a Scarecrow») was preselected for the Oscars and also won more than 20 international prizes. His personal style is mixing digital tools with real objects.

 

For the first time in the history of «Multimatograf» a participant from abroad is going to come to Vologda for the festival events. This is Levan Jugheli from Tbilisi (Georgia). He has submitted the work «A say with the night» into «Wild» nomination.
