On Saturday the whole country of Russia was choosing the talisman of 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi. Our festival talisman was chosen long ago — this is the cute green cat Mulya.

The author of her first image was one of the festival founders, Yevgeniy Tselik. Painted then, 7 years ago, the cat looked totally different from the today Mulya. Her final look was created by the flash-animator from Moscow Arina «Flashtuchka» Kazimirova.

The real cat’s Birthday was celebrated yesterday, on February 27. Mulya accepted the congrats on her own «Vkontakte Social Network» page — you can chat there and tell your fans the latest news.
