Tomorrow, February 25, at «Vinzavod», in the Art Studios for All Ages, (Moscow) a lecture about modern animation in Russia will be conducted. The talk about «where the cartoons have disappeared», the market and production of animated films, and tendencies in the field of animation is waiting for participants.
The lecture will be given by Pavel Muntyan and Vladimir Ponomaryov.
Pavel Muntyan – Ph.D in Psychology, author of a number of articles on computer addiction. Since 2003 Pavel is the author and director of the only Internet-project in the Russian segment, devoted to alternative and conceptual animation – KOMS.ru and family animation portal Multikov.net (the oldest Internet source about flash-animation).
Since 2005 he has been the producer of Andrey Bakhurin, Nikolay Belov, a master of animated horror films and Andrey Chesnokov, the author of famous «snezhiks» (snow creatures), and since 2007 – the producer of Oleg Kuvayev and his sensational Masyanya. In 2009 Pavel was a jury member of the festival «Multimatograf».
