Art computer festival «Chaos Constructions’2010» will take place in St. Petersburg for the tenth time. The event will be held on August 28 and 29 in the Kirovskiy plant exhibition center at the Prospekt of Stachek 47. The festival is a huge nonformal event, a meeting place for sysadmins, hackers, electronics engineers, programmers, amateurs of all kinds of computer art where they compete, hang out and share their experience.
For the third year in a row the zest of the festival is the unparalleled in Russia «hacking competition» of specially organized computer infrastructure, «HackQuest», which presupposes absolute freedom of actions, because at the primary phase the participants don't get anything, except network access into the competition network, about which they don't have any information.
Apart from the competition, the festival will also include a separate section of seminars on infomation security. Very topical reports on problems of modern computer systems security will be presented by researchers and analysts of «Digital Security», «Positive Technologies», «Yandex» and other companies.
Visitors and participants with personal computers will be provided with free Internet access and 220 volts socket. Guests from other cities can be hosted in hostels. Entrance fee - 500 RUB. Free entry for female participants.
