On the 10th of February which is the birthday of Vsevolod Meyerhold’s, the traditional public master class on stage directing will be held. This year the presenter will be one of the most outstanding Russian animators, the member of the Meyerhold’s Commission Andrey Khrzhanovskiy. The director will conduct a master class called “What the cinema can learn from Meyerhold?”, tell about his meetings with leading actors of the Meyerhold’s troupe - Erast Garin, Igor Ilyinskiy, dramatist Nikolay Erdman, and also present his latest motion picture “A Room and a Half, or a Sentimental Journey to the Homeland” about Joseph Brodskiy.
The event will be held in the Vsevolod Meyerhold’s Centre of Theatre and Culture (Moscow, Novoslobodskaya Street 23), starting at 7 p.m. Admission is free.
