When exactly is the festival going to take place?
Usually it takes place on the last weekend of April.

Is there any participation fee?
Nope. And all the festival events are free for the participants. We don't cover your travel, food and accomodation, but are ready to assist in finding a cheap place to stay. There also may be a free sleeping zone organized at the festival facilities.

I am already the winner of 28 festivals. Should I take part in this one?
Well, we don’t know. But if you find at least one motive, it would be better for you to take part in the out-of-competition program, so that you won’t feel bad if you don’t win.

My work has already been presented in the Internet and on the CD “Best Cartoons of Russian Internet” of the publisher XYZ… May I submit this work to the festival?
Yes, you may (but you'd better look through your contract with the publisher XYZ again).

Yes, you may. The technique is not what really matters.

I am 113 years old, I have worked in video-making sphere for a long time, may I participate in this festival?
Yes, you may, if you didn’t add an extra hundred of years. If you did, you can participate only in the out-of-competition program and in this case your work will be shown in the framework of the festival events. For the work to take part in the competition the author must be 14 (or older).

I have made an awesome advertisement, may I nominate it?
Commercial and custom-made works can not take part in the competition, but they can be shown in the out-of-competition program, in case they don’t have a strong advertising orientation.

I live in Cameroon (the USA, Australia, the North pole), may I participate in this festival?
Yes, the festival has no borders.

I presented my work at the competition. Do I have to come to the festival?
As you wish. According to the rules the author or any representative of the work has to be at the festival. However, in some cases (due to a big geographical remoteness) we don’t insist on this condition that much:)

How can I reserve my copyright?
The copyright is a subtle matter. In the framework of the festival it works the following way. You conclude an official agreement with the organizing committee about granting the non-exclusive rights to use your work in the festival program. You also confirm that you are the author of the work, rightholder or authorized representative of the author and you can grant these (non-exclusive) rights. Yep, somehow like this… Well, anyways it's better if you read the author contract by yourself.

Do you return the sent materials?
No. Very persistently we don't return the files, downloaded from the Internet.

I have made a social advertisement. Nobody paid me. Really! May I nominate it?
Social advertising is a useful and good thing, but we put it out of format as the commercial one. You can take part in the out-of-competition program. It would be better if you get in contact with some relevant festival. If you win we will be happy too.
I want to take part in the competition but I don't understand how, what and where should I download?
Please, read the procedure at page "For Participants" and in a case if you don't understand write to participate@multimatograf.ru.
I have registered at the site but Moderator does not answer, what shall I do?
We try not to miss any application but we are people:) Please, remind us about you and write to participate@multimatograf.ru
Why do you need a scan of my passport, I just want to take part in a competition!
This requirement is based on the festival regulations and ask other people to respect it. According to the festival regulations pre selection is a part of the festival. In order to become a festival member and get access to the pre selection you should give us all the necessary data. The list of necessary data is determined by us. We need a passport scan to get protected from unreliable authors (unfortunately, there are some).
